yeah, it's ok. for me, that movie's more about the fact that it captures a lot of what's getting paved over in austin's quest for ambitious glittery yuppiefied banality. so many settings in that movie no longer exist, and what's replacing them is MUCH more boring.

saw "x-men origins:wolverine" last night.

i enjoyed it, but i really hate what the x-men movie franchise has done with the continuity of the characters and their relationships. fans know better.

yeah i gave up on pretty much all Superhero flicks cause i get all nerdy and yell "NO THEY DIDNT DO THAT IT WAS ORIGINALLY ____________" and i get caught up in tiny shit and it ruins the whole thing for me. at least that one had gambit in it finally, right? did they blow his storyline, too?

gambit was in it. and his appearance kinda a downer (didn't ruin the whole movie, but the movie franchises use of him was horrible). they really should have given him a bigger part from movie number one. this was just too little too late.

yeah, gambit was always my favorite and i figured they'd shorten his screentime and screw it up.

never been a fan of the X Men movies, any of them.

they should have gone with nobodies to play all the roles i think, and STUCK TO THE COMICBOOK STORYLINES.

that's why they're so popular: the original stories kicked ass!

yea, i read somewhere that after they do the "x-men origins: magneto" movie they will do one based just on gambit. that would be highly entertaining.

oh also, fuckin cyclops is *also* in "xmo:wolverine" too. im so sick of that guy.

i think push is closer to reality than x-men actually. there's lots of allegory going on in x-men.

also the vampires in Twilight have the exact same powers as the mutants in Push

Saw part of Swingers and watched most of this movie called "Duplex" with Drew Barrymore and Ben Stiller. Was funnier than expected, but still not really worth hunting down. If its on Comedy Central again, its worth leaving on while you smoke bowls.
