I have to add Hot Rod and Step Brothers to this list, so utterly dumbass but then incredibly funny so far better than watching Kevin Smith try to be clever and funny and fail at both (mostly).

Ha, i haven't seen much of the colbert report, but the bits i've seen are fucking brilliant.
Although the O'Reilly factor is funnier tbh.

Yeah, Colbert's brilliant at taking the piss out of Fox's style, although i almost want to believe O'Reilly is the world's greatest satirist, and that we aren't all going to die. But nope, not true. We screwed

Reminds me of that feminist woman on dissenus, was sure she was just a Men's Rights Activist trying to discredit feminist ideology.
Mind you then I read some Andrea Dworkin and I thought the same thing.

The first time I saw Step Brothers, I thought it was a bit too much... them acting like kids a lil too baby-ishly... but we do dubs of it at work, and Ive now seen it probably 10 times, and all I have to say about it now is "Its the Fuckin Catalina Wine Mixer!" Well, that and "BOATS AND HOES!"
Hot Rod is hilarious. I need to see that one again.
Have you watched Pineapple Express yet Doobs? High quality stupidity right there.

Re: Movies & TV we like...
I'm never too sure with stoner films whether I'm actually going to like them - could be Dazed and Confused or it could be the dogshit Dude Where's My Car. I shall get on it, seeing as I can get them cheap on the net
Just caught Gran Torino - some of the acting's a bit iffy but Clint turns in a damn fine performance. Funny as fuck in places, really moving in others, end tune sucks ass though.

My roomate has "screeners copies" of Gran Torino and The Wrestler that Ive been meaning to sit down with. The 10 minutes I saw of The Wrestler were really really well done, even better than I expected, and all that Ive heard about Gran Torino is that its excellent.
And I give you a good rating for Pineapple Express... Ive seen more than once here at work and its hilarious. Definately more Dazed and Confused than Wheres my Car.

One of the ones that I thought was going to be utter shit but laughed my derriere off to was Harold And Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Some jaw-dropping "did they just say that" moments in there.

Re: Movies & TV we like...
oh yeah, it was almost on par with the first one.
then again i hold the first harold and kumar pretty high on my list of hilarious stoner movies, as i was on mushrooms the first time i saw it and they hit me HARD during the cheetah riding scene.

Re: Movies & TV we like...
Wall-e was a pretty good movie, but I do feel a bad taste from the fact it's eco-message was probably used to sell a hell of a lot of merchandise.
