nobody is beating the lakers, nobody.

dallas looks good, san antonio probably will be ok, blazers are gonna be on fire, and fuck the east.

i also predict shaq is going to blow his acl and this will be the last season lebron will be in cleveland.

yeah boston looks pretty much unstoppable. the mingless, mcgradyless rockets last year took the champs to seven games, so i figure the lakers can be picked apart. artest is the kicker though.

Re: Hoops Thread

Post by DJ Cal Cutta on Wed Oct 28, 2009 10:56 am

If Ron gets his shot in rhythm this year, the Lakers will be deadly. Ron Artest could really thrive in the Triangle Offense, seeing as the whole idea of Ron in their offense is just to get him wide open looks(and look at it last night, they looked like they were playing completely half-ass and Ron *still* got wide open shots all night).

I was mighty impressed by Portland's 2nd unit last night. If Andre Miller and Rudy Fernandez can sync like that normally, this is gonna be a fun year...

And now commences my Blazers homerism for the season

i like new orleans this year as well. hell our conference is again the toughest in the league, all talent filled rosters. Okafor needs to stay healthy for N.O. though.

DALLAS LOOKS GOOD? They got beat by the Wizards on opening night with Jameson leading all Washington scorers. FUCKING ANTAWN JAMESON BEAT DALLAS.

Oh, and Boston will beat the Lakers. Cleveland got handled at home by them last night. It's kind of a crap shoot this early but if everyone is healthy, Boston has a better bench than LA does IMO.

As for SA, well... its my team and I don't wanna be negative, but they need to make some moves if they want a shot at the title this year.
